Polaroid Instant Camera
Edwin Land invented the Polaroid instant camera in nineteen forty seven or thereabouts. It was called the model
ninety five and was among a number of cameras produced between nineteen forty seven and nineteen sixty three. The
film used in this camera did not require a dark room for developing it; it would show the picture in less than five
minutes.
One of the Polaroid instant cameras used today is the Pogo, it being very easy to use and still you get instant
pictures to put into a scrap book. Many use these at wedding receptions and parties. Just snap and print as they
say. It comes with a multitude of gadgets. It prints without using ink, it has a printer compatible memory card,
four times optical zoom, it also has a date stamp which is nice for when children get older they can see when the
picture was taken.
It also has auto focus for those who just cannot focus a camera themselves. It also comes with a warranty, will
print borderless photos, and water and smudge resistant pictures. Many other features are also available with this
Polaroid instant camera. You do have to buy special photo paper for this camera but reloading the camera is a
synch.
Another Polaroid instant camera is called the Polaroid Spectra 1200i. It has a self timer so you can take a
group picture and actually be in it. It has a camera built in flash, warranty and a few other items to work with.
This camera also gives versatility and will produce sharp and vivid pictures. Light sometimes can cause problems
when taking pictures, with the electronic viewfinder it provides the light information as well as distance needed
to take a good picture. You do not have to advance the film it is done for you. Focusing is not longer a problem,
or getting red eye. What more could a person ask for in an instant camera? You will have to buy Spectra high
definition film to use with it.
Then comes the Polaroid instant camera, digital style. This camera can print pictures without using ink but the
colors tend to come out faded. This camera is not the best on the market and many say it is not worth the two
hundred dollar price tag. It is extremely heavy compared to the others that are much lighter. On the good side of
the Polaroid instant camera that is digital is there is a dedicated print button, it makes the printer work faster
and it is easy. You can also crop the photos, add borders and it has a three inch screen.
Unfortunately Polaroid instant camera is fading fast. Gone are a lot of styles and designs that made Polaroid
famous. Polaroid instant cameras are almost extinct. People today want faster, thinner and better quality pictures.
They want to be able to take a picture and have it last for twenty years without the fading of the colors and turn
yellow.
